~ Ice mountain sparkling water.
Our tap water and just water in general has tasted SO icky to me since pregnancy began practically. I never had trouble with it before, i've always pretty much only drank water and iced tea, but you know how those hormones make everything whack! I tried drinking water with lemon in it, but it still wasn't cutting it. Then i saw the Ice Mountain Sparkling water on sale at Target one day, and remembering that i love sparkling water, i got some and haven't quit buying it since! It's been a lifesaver when it comes to getting my water down.
~ What to Expect When Your Expecting book. Cause it's just plain fun to sit and read before bed all about the fruit your baby is the size of that week and compare all your symptoms to those in the book!
~ Unisom sleep tabs. These have been my other lifesaver! They are actually an antihistamine, very similar to Benadryl and yes they are safe to use during pregnancy. I take, per doctors recommendation, 1\2 a tab before bed every night. I tried to stop taking them around week 18 when i figured the sickness should've been at bay but to no avail. I was super sick again for 4 days, vomiting daily and not able to get off the couch or lift a finger to do anything. So i went back on them and went back to feeling my normal crappy but vomit free self.
~ Leggings!!! Maternity pants being expensive, and even when comfortable, they're really not THAT comfortable. I almost live in leggings nowadays, and love that i can get them for about $5 a pair! Even as my belly grows, there's plenty of options being Wal-Mart sells these in junior, womans, or plus size. So i'll have a size for every stage!
~ Lipton Iced Tea (DECAF) My beloved iced tea, i really couldn't go without. And thanks to having a tea maker at home (so cheap! and SOOO worth it!) and getting decaf tea bags, i can still have fresh brewed iced tea any time i want. Hooray for that!
